We are Family.

Tuesday night, Jax and I went to Gravel's for a little bit. Gran and Day watched him while I went to a "stampin' up" party... I took a few photos before I left.
Gravel.
Yes, she has a black eye. She fell in the bathroom. Thankfully, other than her black eye, she is okay.
Zach Zach and Jax Jax. They're buddies.
Here's my Nich Ad. When she was born I always called her my "nich" instead of my "niece" and I just realized that I've not done that in a long time...
We are family.

It's Independence Day...

We went to my Aunt Mammy and Uncle Ted's for the 4th. It was a day full of cornhole, volleyball, food, fun and STORMS...
Jax really had fun in Chloe's inflatable jumper. Here he is playing with Kaley. He loves to wear people's sunglasses.
Jax loves his "uncle" Carson. He followed him around all day.
Climbing out of the jumper. He was such a big boy all day.
Chloe, Jaxon, Kaley and Carson... getting ready to watch fireworks.
Jaxon, his Papaw and Karen.
Carson and Jaxon.
We drove to Ford Richardson and parked to watch the Mayfield fireworks. My son loves fireworks!
Me and my sleepy baby. I know, I look rough. It had been a long day of swimming and playing in the rain.
Love this baby!
Happy 4th of July!

Early.

Daddy's gone this week. He's on an indian reservation in Arizona. We miss him. Friday night before bed he had a talk with Jaxon reminding him that he is the man of the house this week and that he had to take care of things and protect Momma. It was sweet.
These pictures were taken at 4:30 A.M. Saturday morning. Justin was leaving and Jax just happened to wake up. So, of course, he got some bye-bye kisses from his Daddy.
And about 2 minutes after Daddy walked out the door... here is the man of the house.
He's taking care of things...

Fun on the 3rd.

Friday night we had our annual 4th of July get-together with Justin's family. Yea, I know it was the 3rd, but it was still fun. Here's Jax and his Nana waiting for fireworks. Jax and Daddy playing with a sparkler. They're really safe for 16 month olds.
Justin's dad took this picture. It was really close and the flash blinded us.
Love these boys.
My MIL asleep during the fireworks.
A fun time was had by all, even if we did almost die when a firework turned over and starting shooting in all directions...
Yea. No lie.

We Sure Are...

...going to miss the Daddy this week.

New Sprinkler

Hey guys. It's Jaxon.
My Mommy bought me this new toy. It squirts water out. I thought it looked cool at first. But the water was really cold. Then I spotted those balls. See them? I was determined to get to the balls. But to get to the balls, I had to get a little wet.
But then the water squirted me in the eyes. And it was cold. And it made me mad.
But I tried to pull myself together. Cause I had to get those balls.
But I got squirted by the cold water again. And it made me really mad.
Forget it. I've got other balls.

Mom, This new toy was not your best idea.
