Now I Remember!

Today, we went to the mall to get the boys pictures made with the Easter bunny. They looked so cute and were in such a good mood. When I walked in I got chased down by a Olan Mills associate who informed me that they had a package now through Easter that was $15. For $15, you get a 10x13, 8x10, two 5x7's, 16 wallets and 6 Easter cards. I asked what the catch was and she ensured me that there was not a catch. So me, being the sucker that I am, agreed to give it a try. Jax doesn't do well for me for pictures anymore, so I thought maybe he'd do better for someone else.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, never-the-less, it was not.

We were at Olan Mills Studio for 2 and a half hours!

Now I remember why I started taking pictures of my kids to begin with! Thanks for the deal, Olan Mills, but something tells me that we won't be back...

Easter Bunny 2011

Jax didn't really mind the Easter Bunny this year.

Knox, however, was not a fan.

Grant's Farm

It was a beautiful day in St. Louis so Justin and I decided to take the boys to do something fun today. We got up this morning and got a shower- and then I realized that my hair brush was in my car, which was 30 minutes away at the gym with my hubby. I started to panic a little bit because my hair is really thick and ratty as it is, and without a hair brush, I knew that it would be absolutely out of control. Finally a light bulb went off in my head and I knew exactly what to do- I used a fork! I knew that all of the countless times that I watched the little mermaid as a small child (and as a teenager and young adult :) would come in handy! ha ha...

But anyway, after Justin came back to the hotel and we got ready, we headed to Grant's Farm. This little guy was pumped and ready to see (and ride) some horses! I tried to get a picture of all three boys on the train, but that wasn't possible with my big lens. This is the best I could do...
Knoxer slept on the train ride...

When the train ride was over, we checked out some animals in the zoo part of the farm.

Jaxon loved looking at the elephants!

and Knox woke up!

We saw this cute little horse... pretty sure he's been on some commercials on television.

Daddy paused for some lunch and a picture with his boys...

and Mommy took a picture with her boys!

Jax Man was all smiles.

and so was his baby brother!

It was a great, beautiful beautiful day....

Breakfast of Champions.

This morning I asked Jaxon what he wanted for breakfast.

And since we are at a hotel and all, his choices were very limited.

So he chose powdered donuts and cookies...

Yum! And Knox got really excited about breakfast this morning, too. You would have thought he was getting to eat donuts and cookies too by the look on his face. But nope, just another bottle ;)

Rub A Dub Dub...

When we got home from Daddy's game tonight, we decided to make use of the hot tub once more before we go home tomorrow. After all, after the day we've had, we all needed it! Our car died on us twice in St. Louis. Thank Goodness it was just a bad battery and that it was fixed easily... I've never seen so many bubbles in my life! He was in HEAVEN! This kid loves bubble baths...

He had to make Daddy a beard too!
And that resulted in this... One of my favorite pictures ever of these two!
We love weekend getaways with our family...

And as Jaxon says, "We love famiwwy baths!" ha ha...
