Jaxon and I made cupcakes (or puck cakes, as Jax calls them) for him to take to his class tomorrow! He's very excited about it... I love doing special things like this for my little super hero (and cannot fathom how in the world he's almost five)!

My Valentine
It's Valentine's Day... and the two littlest Masons and their Momma are hanging out at home.
Daddy had to ref tonight... and he's at Graves Co. Momma definitely doesn't attend Graves Co. games that Daddy refs. Too much yelling from too many people that she knows.
Jaxon's V-Day party was at school today. Mommy & Knox went... Jax was super excited to show off his super cool Bat-Mobile Valentines Day Box that he and Momma made.
Unfortunately, the day only went downhill from there though. We got home, and I went to take Jax's shirt off and realized that he was covered in a head-to-toe rash. I took him to the doctor and found out he has strep and scarlet fever. We are home now, and he's been sawing logs for two hours already. I'm hoping he feels much better tomorrow, and praying that he hasn't infected his brother, all the kiddos in his class, and every one else that he's come into contact with.
So yea, it's an exciting Thursday night on New Hope Church Road... I'm going to do a little laundry and maybe a little picture editing.
It's Valentine's Day... and the two littlest Masons and their Momma are hanging out at home. And there's no where else this Momma would rather be.
"and even if the sun refused to shine, even if romance ran out of rhyme... you would still have my heart, until the end of time... You're all I need, my love my Valentine."

Some Catching Up to Do...
Well....
It's almost been a year since I've blogged. How incredibly sad is that??? It's been a busy year, and things have not slowed down in the least bit, but I've decided what better time to start back than now.
So, what's happened since you last heard from me on February 21, 2012? LOTS. Let's try to hit the high-lights.
Justin & I went on a cruise. That was actually before I last posted, but since I didn't post about it, I thought I'd do it now. It was a wonderfully, relaxing, romantic, kid-free week in the Bahamas.
Jaxon turned four. Actually, he's about to turn 5. U.N.R.E.A.L.
My photography business http://immeasurablymorephotography.blogspot.com has taken off... Like for real- it's no longer a fun hobby, it is now a for real job... and I love it and couldn't be more proud. My dream has certainly come true.
Justin graduated Seminary in May at Southern Seminary in Louisville. We are so proud of him for all he has accomplished and all that he is. Can't wait to see what God has in store for his life, and so glad that we are along for the ride. In May, we also celebrated six years of marriage. I love this man!
In June, my sister had another little baby boy. Jantzen James Gill is our newest nephew. He's the sweetest baby and we just love him!
In June, we also went back to Vanderbilt because of Jaxon's Eosenophillic Esophagitis diagnosis that he received when he was 15 months old. We thought that he was magically better, but it came back with a vengeance. He's had two endoscopies since June, and will have another in March, and he has been put on a dairy free diet. This has brought many challenges our way since he is definitely our picky child. We just pray that this isn't a lifetime adjustment, maybe he'll grow out of whatever is going on with him. That's how we pray anyway.
This spring/summer, Jax played t-ball and soccer, and loved them both. He's quite the little athlete, and his little brother was his biggest fan.
In July, I turned 27.
In September, Knox got his second set of tubes.
In October we went to Gatlinburg on a family vacation with Justin's parents and his brother, sister-in-law and their kiddos. It was good to get away and breathe for a while. Vacations are so good for the soul! Justin also turned 29 in October...
On Halloween, Momma got a new van!
Jax also started school this year. He started preschool originially at Clarksriver Baptist Church. He loved it there, but the drive was killing us, so after labor day, he started attending Northside Baptist Christian School and is in the K4 program there. He's learning so much and we are so proud of him.
In December, Justin's brother's wife, my sweet sister-in-law Angie had another baby girl. We sure do love that Baby Josie (or lovingly often called "Baby Yoshi" by my boys).
Knox turned two in January. We celebrated with a hair-cut and a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party. He's really starting to come out of his shell, and that's a blessing.
Justin was ordained on January 20th.
... And here we are. February 13, 2013. Loving our life. Being thankful for these beautiful boys. Seeking God's will.
Sorry it's been so long. I'll try not to let it happen again. Even if no one ends up reading this blog, I think I need it for my sanity, so... I'm back.

My Love Bug & His Love Bug... And Hard Lessons
The boys and I went to story-time at the library today, like we do every Thursday. Today was the Valentines Day party... One of the high lights of my entire day was watching my all-too-grown almost four-year-old pass out his valentines to his friends at storytime. His sly little grin was precious. He was proud to be giving people something, and it made me proud to see a giving spirit in my little boy. He makes me proud every day... :)
On a completely different note- God's trying to teach me some lessons and I feel that I have been more in tune to His voice this week than I have been in quite some time now. I won't go into detail about it now (but hope to be able to explain more later) but all too often in the past several years, I have felt like God was calling me, drawing me, leading me or convicting me to "do something" and I was either what I thought at the time to be too busy, or I simply ignored Him. But God smacked me upside the head with something so clear this week that it was impossible to ignore it, and I heard His voice. He's teaching me some things right now. I'm learning lessons in my personal life and my relationship with Him, and He's teaching me what He desires in me as a wife and as a mother. These lessons are hard, but I'm thankful that I'm finally ready to learn them...
Goodnight friends. Here's a picture of my little love bug and his love bug that he made at story-time today :)
