Pete's Wedding

Pete and Nathan got married today, today the fourth Saturday in a row that the Mason's have had a wedding to attend or I've had a wedding to be a bridesmaid in or photograph.

I absolutely love this picture of the four "Henderson" grandchildren. I can't believe that I got all four of them to look at the camera at once...!
Love these sweet boys, and love the expression on Knox Man's face... ha ha ;)

Dale and the Knox before the wedding...

The Newleyweds enjoying their first dance... I hope that they are always as happy as they were today!

These kiddos enjoyed eating dinner at the table set up especially for kids!

Jax enjoyed a dance with the beautiful bride...

My sweet Knox still isn't feeling well... He spent most of the day snuggled up to Mommy.

Gran and Dale enjoyed a dance alongside of Jax and Kelsey.

I love both of these brown eyed boys... I think they look so much alike in this picture- I've always thought that Knox looks more like me, but after seeing this picture, I'm not so sure.

The beautiful bride and me...

Congratulations Andrea and Nathan!

We love you guys and hope that the smiles that you had on your faces today stay there forever!

1st Annual Diamond Dolls Softball Game

A few months ago, I couldn't sleep. My mind wouldn't be still, and I started dreaming up an all women's softball game at church. We would have a pink team and a purple team, and the men would cook for us while we played softball. After a little planning, my dream became a reality and Liberty Baptist Church hosted it's first ever "Diamond Dolls Softball Game."

There was a pink team. And there was a purple team.
And Momma still had it! Ha ha... I actually hit the ball pretty well, surprisingly enough.

I feel like everyone had a great time and that it was definitely an event that our church will do again in the future, hopefully even an annual event that we will put on the calendar each year!

In a field of wild flowers...

that's where my beautiful friend Kayla tied the knot today.
Kayla and I have been friends for years now... God allowed our paths to cross when I was in high school and she was still in middle school. This little girl looked up to me in a way that I had never been looked up to before, and when she was a freshman and I was a junior, we became quick friends. We helped each other get through some difficult times in life, like the death of her father and the divorce of my parents. Time has changed some things... We don't get to spend as much time together as we used to. But there are some things that will never change. One of those things is our friendship. I am proud of the young woman that Kayla has become and I am so happy for her today, as she married the love of her life and her very best friend.

Congratulations Kayla. It was my honor to stand up with you today...

Big Apple Adventure (Night Two)

Jax started out the night by putting his offering in the boys bucket! Mr. Brown eyes went to class tonight too! He did such a good job!
Jax loved snack time... He says that the little pizzas were his favorite!

Mrs. Renee always does something creative for her class- this year she stuck to the NYC theme and made taxi cabs for all of the kids with their names on it. The kids loved walking around in their cars... and they were super cute!

Jax and his buddy Micah did a little sidewalk art...

I love this picture of pretty Addi drawing...

So far VBS has been a blast.

Jaxon is going to go with his daddy the rest of the week, but unfortunately, Knox and I will not be able to make it anymore because we have a wedding rehearsal tomorrow night and a wedding Saturday. We were thankful to get to go the past two nights though!

Big Apple Adventure (Night One)

Tonight was the first night of VBS at our church this year. We had a little kick-off celebration for all of the kids and teachers tonight...

My hard working (ahem, super hott) husband did an awesome job of getting everything together and ready...

The little kids loved playing with the rocket balloons. Justin and I could not get them blown up fast enough for their little hands! After they played with the balloons, they drew with the sidewalk chalk. Here's Jaxon and his girlfriend Kayla doing a little drawing...

And Justin drawing a flower with the kiddos... And the Jax man drawing the prettiest flower I ever did see...

We love VBS and can't wait to see what the rest of this week holds!
