Jackson Wedding

Our friend Steven got married today-
well kind of. He actually got married in September at the courthouse, but his wedding was today. Justin performed the ceremony and then we went to the reception afterward and enjoyed some amazing cake and some dancing.
We tried to get Jax to dance with us, but he would have none of that slow dancing stuff. He only wanted to dance fast!
So I had to enjoy dancing with my handsome husband all by myself...Bummer :)
Kody and Heather shared a dance.
So did Meg and Bob.
Jax Man did a little break dancing.
And then he and Daddy lined up for the Cha-Cha slide. Mommy skipped out on this one. She didn't feel that she should take a chance of going into labor or anything like that.
This is the only picture that I got of the groom and his bride. Ooops.
But we do wish Steven and Kayla all the happiness in the world as they begin their new life together. Weddings are so much fun!

Youth Party at Patti's

Last night was our youth Christmas party at Patti's. We enjoyed awesome fellowship, great food and wonderful fun. We arrived a little before or reservation, so we walked around outside and looked at all of the beautiful lights and took some pictures. We also ran into the big man himself, Santa.
Jax posed for a picture with Santa...
and then the youth did as well!
Here are me and some of my favorite girls!
And here are Justin, Jaxon and I and some of the coolest people we know!
I wanted a good family picture, but no one informed me that I looked like a huge cow... Oh well, maybe next year.
This little dude was all about posing for some pictures last night!
We are thankful that God led us to Liberty to serve Him, and we are thankful for the amazing students that He allows us to serve there!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The fun last night was cut short, as I started having some strong contractions on the church van on the way home. We ended up in the birthing center. Thank the Lord that the contractions were not causing me to go into labor- they just hurt! Please pray that this little baby growing inside of me will stay put until it's safe to come out....
Thank you friends!

Cousin Christmas Pictures...Sorta

My sister brought her little kiddos over today for Christmas pictures.
I thought to myself, while they're here, we may as well try to kill two birds with one stone.
So I tried to get a decent Christmas picture of Jax with his cousins.
And this is the best that I got...
Oh well, there's always next year. Addison and Baby Justice did well though...
And Justice did awesome sleeping for some newborn pictures.
I've decided that pictures with cousins are just basically impossible...
on both sides of our family, anyway...

Christmas with Friends

Tonight we had our annual Christmas party with our friends. Kelly and Brian hosted it at their house this year, and per usual, we all had a fantastic time. Even Jaxon, contrary to what his face may say in the following picture. Little Cooper was there, celebrating his very first Christmas. He and Jax posed for a picture together...
Jaxon is one very blessed boy. He started this season's gift opening extravaganza tonight...

We are blessed to have some amazing friends in our lives.
We are blessed that our friends love our little boy...
We're just blessed!

ICE

Before we headed home from Nashville today, we decided to make one more fun stop.
We went to ICE at Gaylord Opryland. It was amazing! This year's theme was "Santa Clause is Coming to Town." We took time to stop infront of several of the ice sculptures. They were incredible to look at!
Justin, being silly. Glad he didn't get his tongue stuck to this pole. It was 9 degrees in there, so Jax and I probably would have had to have left him to fend for himself.
Jax man in front of some crazy awesome ice sculptures.
Again...
He also go to go down a slide that was entirely made of ice. We thought that he would really like it. He didn't.
Jaxon and Daddy inside of Santa's toy factory. Once he got scared of the slide, he didn't let his Daddy put him back down.
Our family in front of the ice nativity scene...
Our mini-Nashville vacation was so much fun...
And ICE was super COOL!

Nashville Predators vs. Pheonix Coyotes.

Me, Justin and Jaxon all experienced a first tonight together. We all went to our very first hockey game.
Here's Jaxon and one of the Predator's cheerleaders before the game. Daddy and Jaxon watching the players warm up before the game began.
Jax thought he had to have a foam finger, so, of course, we bought him one.
This was our best attempt at a family photo. :(
I love this picture! If he would smile for this for all of his pictures (particuarly his Christmas pictures) it would make my life alot easier! Ha ha...

Mommy and Jaxon... It was freezing in there!

Even though there were many times that we had no idea what was going on because we don't know much about hockey, we still had a lot of fun at the game!
