I love Dr. Austin in Murray, but I don't think he's taking new patients unless you have a baby at Murray Hospital. However, I have seen Dr. Young (Angie's pediatrician) when she was in Dr. Austin's practice and she is good. We also like Dr. Gina Lillianthal at Dr. Austin's office and she may actually take new patients. (759-9223) Something to think about is where you plan to have Jaxon's siblings some day (and I know you will forget the horror of the first delivery and perhaps decide to have another one). Feeling all of my first c-section (every cut) was no picnic but I have two more beautiful girls to show for it. Anyway, something to think about is where you want to have another baby. If Paducah is what you want, I have a friend, whom I trust with my life, who has always used Dr. Kayla Mason and she LOVES her and so do her girls.
Don't know if that helped or not, but there's a few names to consider.
thanks deena! i have called several of those offices already, and i will definitely take all of your suggestions into consideration... this is kinda stressful!
It sure is...it's one thing when it's our health and another when it's our baby's. I trust Dr. Austin totally and I hope you are able to find someone you love just as much.
Justin and Kendra fell in love on their first date- May 13, 2005. Five months later he put a ring on her finger and asked her to be his wife. On May 20, 2006 they stood before their family and friends and said "I do," and God placed a blessing on their new lives together. Anniversary number one brought a big surprise and on February 24, 2008- Jaxon Thorpe Mason graced us with his amazing presence and we became a family. Almost three years later, God blessed us with our second son, Knox Holmes Mason, and we are more in love with Him, with each other and with our kiddos than we thought we could ever be...
The Daddy
Oh, him? Justin is not only the best Daddy in the world, but he's also the guy that holds the key to my heart. He loves me like no one has ever loved me, and like no one else will ever love me. Even though we drive each other crazy sometimes, we both know we're soul mates. Our love is real and we thank God for it. Justin is an amazing man of God, and the thing that I love most about him is the fact that he's real. His "boyish good looks" first caught my eye, but his love for the Lord won my heart. Well, that and his gorgeous smile!
The Mommy
If there's one thing I can do, it's love. And I do that as passionately and as crazy as I can. I view much of life through my camera lens, and I love being "just a stay-at home" mom and I'm thankful for my daily experiences with Jaxon and Knox. Every night, I look at my beautiful little boys and thank God for letting me be exhausted at the end of the day. Not only am I crazy in love with my sons, but I love my goofy husband so much that some days I feel like my heart will bust. I am loved by my Jesus, and every day with Him is sweeter than the day before. I thank Him every day for choosing me to be the love of Justin's life and the Mommy to sweet Jaxon and baby Knox.
The Big Brother Superhero.
Our boys are our life- and we are so thankful for our oldest son, Jaxon. He's one of the reasons that we wake up every day. He has shown us what really matters in life. He has an amazing personality and is one of the funniest little people that I have ever met. I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom. The boy REALLY IS FUNNY! He keeps us laughing. At five, he enjoys playing anything involving a ball, music, Spiderman & Batman and hanging out with his Baby Brother. He's hilarious, stubborn and loved beyond measure. He's my strength and our joy. Words can't express how proud we are of this big boy! His name means "God has been gracious," and God most certainly has!
The Little Brother Superhero.
We never knew how much love our hearts could actually hold, until we welcomed our second son into this world. Knox doubled the size of our hearts and made our lives so much brighter. He has the most beautiful big, brown eyes, and a smile that starts a chain reaction, because when you see it, you can't help but smile yourself. The child has a laugh that could melt the coldest of hearts. His big brother is crazy about him, and so are his Mommy and Daddy. He's never still, no not for a second. He loves to eat. He loves shoes. He loves Mickey Mouse, Toy Story & Cars, but he loves his Big Brother the most. Sweet baby Knox is our precious gift from God.

Misty is taking the girls to see Dr tara Houston at Murray now. I went with her to their last appointment and I really liked her ;0)
Mrs. Sullivan really likes Dr. Houston as well. Might be another one to try.
