High Stepper

So, once again my life just got a little more interesting. When Jax started crawling at not quite six months, we moved our couch in front of our steps so that he wouldn't climb them. For the past almost year, this has been an excellent arrangement for us. It's a tad bit inconvenient when you need to go upstairs, but it's not too much of a hassel to either scoot the couch out, or climb over it.
Which, ahem, is what Jax learned to do yesterday. Climb over it. He was sitting on the couch, and I turned my back for just a minute and he was gone. I tried to act like it wasn't that big of a deal because normally if he thinks it's okay for him to do, then he doesn't really want to. He never went all the way to the top. He mainly just stood on the third or fourth step and laughed at me. Then he'd climb out, go get some balls, climb back behind the couch and throw them at me like torpedos. Yes friends, we have an entertainer on our hands.
And a high stepper.
Congratulations Jax. Your brains and determination amaze your Mama every day.
