2nd Birthday Play by Play

I can't believe that our little man is already two years old.

Here's Jaxon on his last night as a one-year-old. Mommy was pretty sad. And here he is on his first morning as a two-year-old. He was taking calls in the back seat. It was incredible how many "happy birthday" phone calls this little guy got... I told Justin that he needed his own cell phone so that he could take all of his birthday calls!
He's got to be one of the cutest two year olds ever...

Since his party wasn't going to be until Saturday, I took him to Wal-Mart and let him pick out a cake to eat on his birthday. This is what he picked out. Yes, a purple Dora cake. He cried for it, and it WAS his birthday after-all, so I let him have it. And it tasted pretty good, if I do say so myself.

We even lit some candles for him to blow out on his actual birthday...

And since the big 2 fell on a Wednesday night, we went to church and celebrated some more...

... with pizza, of course. What's a 2nd birthday without pizza?

And what's any day without this smile?

I can't imagine any age being more fun than two...
