The Baby Food Strike of '08

So, my child has decided that he is now too grown for baby food. It is almost impossible to get him to eat anything about of that little gerber jar. He does, however, love anything that his daddy and I eat. This is how it always begins... he pulls at our knee, and begs... And if begging alone doesn't work, then he has been known to attack...
And he usually gets what he wants... even if it means a nine month old eats an entire chocolate chip cookie.

And he likes to wash it down with gatorade. Daddy lets him suck on the bottom while he drinks, and for some strange reason, he believes that he is drinking too...

We also have a new nightly ritual at the Mason house. Late night popcorn in bed with Daddy. Yes, we let him eat popcorn, but we tear off tiny bites that contain no hard pieces...

And last night, little man had a healthy snack. He loves apples...

Try to tell him no. Don't feed him table food, and he'll take matters into his own hands. He'll climb up in the refrigerator and get the food himself. Because that's how he rolls...
