Florida- At a Glance.

Our church youth group went to Centrifuge camp in Panama City this year. We've had reservations for close to a year, and I had planned to go the entire time. Jaxon was going to stay with Justin's parents and they were going to come to Florida so that they would be close and I could still see Jaxon every day. That didn't end up working out though. My father-in-law owns a service station and after vacationing last week, he didn't feel like he could leave the store for another week. This left me a little torn. Do I go to camp and risk the chance of being miserable without Jax or do I stay home?
My wonderful husband had the idea of me, Jaxon and my MIL going to Florida and staying close to the camp. So that's what we did, and we took Kyler with us.
When we first got to the condo Tuesday night, these boys couldn't wait to get out to the ocean. So, we went.
Last year this little boy was terrified of the ocean and hated the sand. This year he was a beach bum. An absolute beach bum I tell ya. He loved every part of it!
I loved every part of it too.
These were my two favorite parts: The ocean, and this little boy.
Try not to be jealous. It was that beautiful!
His little piggies in the water...
...and mine. This is one of my simple pleasures in life. Toes in the sand in the ocean...
This chick came and played the bag pipes while standing in the ocean. It was a little wierd, but hey, to each his own.
Tuesday night after we got settled in, we went and visited Daddy at church camp. When Jax saw his Daddy in his hat he said, "Daddy, youre a cowboy!"

The next morning at the beach...

He loved every minute of it.
We buried Kyler in the sand... and Jax sat on him.
He's so sweet I could just eat him up.
Kyler and Nana on the train at Pier Park.
Me and Jax on the train- Take One.
I'm always ready, and he's not.
Take Two-
Still trying to get him to look at the camera. My smile's still good.
Take Three-
This is how it always goes. By the time I get him to look and/or smile, my eyes are all squinty and my smile's not as pretty. But oh well, I guess it's still a good picture.
Trying to get a decent picture of our family. This little dude refused to look.
Kyler doing what Kyler did all week... jumped on the waves.
Me and my little man at Margaritaville.

Nana and Jax...
This lady walked around and made balloon animals/swords/hats for all the kids.
Kyler's hat looked like a shark!
She made Jax a sword, but after he saw Kyler's hat, of course, he wanted a hat. So Mommy turned the sword into a hat for him, and the world was well again.
That night I went and hung out with Justin at Camp again. I got to go to the worship service and was blessed, and then I got to be a part of the church group devotion with our youth group, and I was once again, blessed.
We got up extra early Friday morning so that we could spend a little time on the beach before it was time to go home. Jaxon was a little sad this morning. His belly was hurting and he had sunscreen in his eyes. And I'm sure he was just sad because we were going home!
This picture breaks my heart... :(

Last pictures before we were Kentucky bound...
Nana and the boys.
Me, My MIL and my Son.
I had an awesome week hanging out with them...
Things always work out like God plans for them too, I guess.
I got to experience a little of the best of both worlds this week.
I'm thankful for the time that I got to spend with my little boy and I'm thankful for the time that Justin and the youth and leaders had at camp- and I'm thankful for the time that I got to spend there with them.
I'm pretty much convinced that the beach is always a good thing!
