St. Louie...

Since Justin will be gone all summer practically and we won't be able to do a big family vacation this year, we spent a few days in St. Louis together. We got a room downtown and went to a ball game and to the zoo.
When we got to the hotel, Jaxon was so excited and convinced that it was a castle. He was so cute! He told us that he was going to sleep in this bed all by himself, but it didn't happen. We changed clothes and got ready to go to the ballgame. It was freezing! We had to buy Jax a sock hat when we got there!
And he rocked the sock hat...
He looked adorable, and had so much fun at the ball game! He yelled "Go Pujols!"
Justin also bought me this Cardinals blanket because I was freezing. Turns out it was my anniversary present :)
Our Family...
Since our hotel was downtown, we walked to the game and back. On the way back we had a great view of the arch... Jax had fun riding on his Daddy's shoulders. The next morning we got up and went to the zoo.
I must mention that neither Justin or I are fans of the zoo, but Jax LOVED it, and that's all that matters. We took one for the team... but I was able to get a lot of really good pictures, like this one!
Don't worry guys. It's a pretend snake.
Jaxon with the elephant fountain. We have pictures of Kacie and I with this same fountain when we were kids.
Jax was so pumped that "Stripes" was at the zoo!
He liked this big monkey too, but he would turn around and look at him...
Mommy, Jaxon and more zebras...
Looking at the giraffes. Jax wanted to ride them!
Love this picture!
... and this one. My whole world is wrapped up in that mischevious little grin!
We all really liked the penguins...
The boys checking out the bears!
Jaxon loved riding this silly frog!
And he made a really really cute otter!
We ended our day in the petting zoo where Jaxon and his daddy brushed the hair of some nasty goats. Needless to say, I didn't participate in this event.
Our fun little two day family vacation was awesome!
But then again, time spent as a family is always awesome!
