...our nation will elect a new president. Never before have I ever been in as much prayer for our country. Now, I would almost rather talk about anything than politics- and I know that there are only about three people that even read this blog. But just in case someone accidentally happens upon this, my conscience will not allow me to be silent.
It seems that atleast half of our nation is in complete and utter darkness (I'm sure more than half. I'm just trying to be optimistic here.) People are ignorant of Obama's policy and hypnotized by his fluff. People say he is for change. You're right, he's for change. Very very very scary change. I'm not going to lie, I have a really sick feeling in my stomach. We need to be in prayer for our nation more than ever before... Pray about who God would have you to vote for. Make sure you know what your candidate stands for. Vote like a Christian next Tuesday. Our future depends on it.

Don't give up hope Kendra!! God has done it before and he CAN do it again. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land." It doesn't say "the world" it says "MY PEOPLE"...his church. I believe God hears the prayers that are going up and my hope is in him...not who's in the white house...as I know yours is. I not only pray for the presidential race, but for the others as well. The system of checks and balances needs to remain just that. I prayed tonight that God would open the eyes of HIS people and keep his hand on our nation....for the sake of my children, who I want desperately to enjoy the blessed life I'm so richly undeserving of but have been graciously granted through God's amazing grace!!! Keep the faith!!! God's still on the throne!!
